Michigan International Prep School Sandusky is the Future of Education for K-12 Schools

Are You Looking for a Home School Alternative, an Online School in Michigan?

The world is changing quickly, and children’s needs are changing as fast. You are wondering how is your child going to keep up in a K-12 school and still receive an education that prepares them for the future? Welcome to your child’s 100% tuition-free education in a fully accredited, online school. We provide each child with a Chromebook, too, so they have tools for online school education

Our charter school focuses on being a digital village to foster a culture of support for our families with elementary through high school students. We are removing barriers to online school education and helping kids achieve their learning goals. Our goal is to see each student enrolled in our K-12 school achieve success with a remote school, home school alternative in Sandusky, and Sanilac County. We have an education solution that allows each child to feel safe, and every parent to be less worried about their child’s future.

We are a team of professional educators who, along with Superintendent Andrew Hulbert, launched a fully accredited and NCAA endorsed online school in 2017. We have been ready for the changed world years before it was imminent. We are a public charter school, tuition-free, paid entirely by the state of Michigan. We are here to prepare your child for a fulfilling and purposeful future in the 21st century.

Why Do Students Enroll in Virtual Schools, Like Michigan International Prep School Sandusky?

Many children and their families have lifestyles or situations that do not fit the traditional brick and mortar school. Occasionally a family must live abroad, temporarily or permanently. Some children travel for sports, music, or theater. Our school is endorsed and approved by the NCAA. Gifted children often do not fit into the average school classroom, nor do children with special needs. Parents who have sought out a home school alternative or special needs school have found what they needed at Michigan International Prep School Sandusky.

We offer remote school education from elementary and middle school through to high school graduation. We do not close our enrollment or turn kids away. No matter what the future brings, our virtual school is open.

A Virtual School Curriculum Adapted for Each Student in Sandusky And Sanilac County

Each of our Sandusky and Sanilac County students receive the same tuition-free, K-12 virtual school education with a customized learning pathway. Every child receives a Chromebook, too, so they are equipped for the remote school environment. Our online school is developing Cyber Technology classes for certification and Construction Trades training and certificate programs. There are also Help Centers where students can attend a meeting or classroom for a variety of reasons, such as fulfilling a lab assignment during the home school alternative experience.

Every child has unique abilities and aptitudes, and some may be ready to move ahead by taking advanced virtual school classes. Some are ready for college courses, and we guide them to that opportunity. Michigan International Prep School Sandusky is fully NCAA approved, and fully accredited by AdvancEd, Cognia.

Each child who is enrolled at Michigan International Prep School Sandusky will have a dedicated mentor assigned to them. Their mentor stays in regular contact with students to guide and encourage them from enrollment to graduation. Because we celebrate all children in Sandusky and Sanilac County, we want our students to pursue what makes them different. We want each student to be the best version of themselves.
